Manhattan Manatee

I read an article this week about a Manatee that somehow found its way into the Hudson River.
I hate to open a can of peas
But what of this poor manatee
Against the norm, up north he swam
And now he’s really in a jam

Although it’s a great place to visit
New York sure ain’t Florida, is it
But from the Hudson, he won’t budge
He must be drawn to oil and sludge

In that river, what may he find
Where mobsters bury their own kind
One day, perhaps back south he’ll go
With Jimmy Hoffa pulled in tow.

  1. One night, Kimmy wrote an ode
To a manatee with a broken road.
He left florida with his tail a flappin',
And lord knows how he found Manhattan.(yeah that's a stretch)

An ear infection sent him off course,
and made Kim write with rhymes so forced,
That Dr. Seuss is spinning in his grave...
    While a Manha-natee still needs a save.

(it's late, I suck, what more can I say?)
